"Berry Good Pizza"
We had our first "Tastey Tuesday" of the year. This month the students enjoyed making the Snazzy Snack "Berry Good Pizza." First the students had to write the recipe using their best handwriting, then they followed their recipe to make their snack. Finally they got to enjoy their Snazzy Snack!
Sara Comes in For a Visit!!
Sara came in our classroom to "fill our buckets."
Meredith was chosen to give Sara a treat!
It's Summer!!!
One of the second grade Ohio Standards is to learn about season changes. Each season we will observe our class tree. The students will draw the tree and then write about an activity they like to do during that season.
What's My Ending?
We are one of the lucky classrooms in our building to have a smart board. The students have a lot of fun learning with the smart board. During this lesson, we were learning about word endings. The students were writing the given words to determine what the word's ending was
Parts of a Sentence
The first full week of school, we learned about parts of a sentence. The students had fun determining which part of the sentence was the naming part and which was the telling part.
