The Journey North

The second graders are participating in a program called The Journey North. This is a program around the country that provide tulip bulbs for us to plant in a grid and track the progress of their growth. On Thursday, we spent the day observing and dissecting tulip bulbs. Then we made our way out to the Land Lab and planted our bulbs in our grid. The students enjoyed learning which way the bulb had to be in order for it to grow.
